What to practise
As study guidance, split your time across three skill families. This is not a claim about the exact allocation of questions in the real paper.
- Comprehension: passages, inference and main idea.
- Reasoning: logic, sequences, arrangements.
- Numeracy and data interpretation: arithmetic, tables, graphs.
Access
The first CSAT mock is free after login. The remaining CSAT tests are in APPSCCE premium, separate from APSSB.
Practice format, not official rules
Our mocks are built to the figures above. Official marking, qualifying standards and instructions come from APPSC; confirm them on the official site.
Working through a CSAT mock
- Skim for question types first, then do your strongest family.
- Set a per-question time ceiling and skip when you pass it.
- Compare accuracy against attempts: speed without accuracy hides gaps.
- Review solutions for method, not just the answer.
- Clear an answer if you are unsure instead of leaving a rushed guess.
Pairing with GS
CSAT improves with frequent short sessions. Many candidates alternate days between GS and CSAT mocks so neither paper goes cold.
